📻 Tuesday, July 1st the Southern Kentucky Amateur Transmitting Society held their monthly meeting at the Logan County Search & Rescue building in Russellville.

Old business was reviewed and mention was made regarding progress at the hospital for their tower. Progress is also being made in aiding LCSAR with their radio equipment.

⛺️ Field Day was a highlight for this month’s meeting again. Bob presented the stats and made mention we performed better than last year’s 2024 ARRL Field Day. Improvement was estimated at 10% increase. Good utilization of stations and antennas was also brought up. Bob pointed out that several technical issues were overcome and club members continued to learn areas of improvement when in the field.

🎙 The GOTA Station was very active with visitors, helping to boost points earned for Summer Field Day.
