Tuesday, September 2nd, the Southern Kentucky Amateur Transmitting Society held their monthly meeting at the Logan County Search & Rescue building in Russellville.
Old business was reviewed, and mention was made regarding progress at the hospital for their tower. Progress is also being made in aiding LCSAR with their radio equipment.
Several members of the club were recognized for assisting in parking at a local event hosted by the Logan County-Russellville Airport. All volunteers were greatly appreciated. Trash pickup was also noted to be scheduled for the near future, potentially October in hopes to raise more donations for the club.
Nominations were held during this month’s meeting & none of the available officer positions had new nominations. Elections will be during our October meeting.
NET INFORMATION:
– During the first Thursday of each month, the net will be held on simplex frequency: 147.510 to allow for monthly simplex practices.
– Each week following the initial monthly simplex net will be the regular net held on 145.450 PL Tone 77.0
